New Farm Project Monitors The Future
Livestock farmers across the North East of England are being invited to take part in a cutting edge experiment aimed at making the farm of the future. Funding has been secured from LandSkills North East, as part of the Rural Development Programme for England, by Xl Vets, North Northumberland Agricultural Training Association, Eblex and EFFP to establish a Monitor Farm in Northumberland and one in Teesdale. Over a three year period these farms will explore best farming practices and provide a beacon to other farmers in the region.
This course is funded by LandSkills North East as part of the Rural Development Programme for England. Landskills North East East is managed by Lantra on behalf of One North East.
