RDPE

The Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) is jointly funded by the EU, through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, and the UK Government. The RDPE provides a wide range support for capital projects and training for farmers, growers, foresters, food businesses and rural communities.

Key themes to the RDPE programme include:

  • Business efficiency: focusing on knowledge transfer, skills development and collaboration.
  • New markets and products: supporting new product development and marketing.

These elements of the scheme are administered by the RDAs. EFFP's Regional Services Team will help businesses consider opportunities that could receive RDPE support and help them through the business planning and application process.
