Regional Services
EFFP’s Regional Services provide support and delivery for public sector initiatives and projects aimed at developing and improving supply chains and helping businesses within those chains improve their performance.
This may involve working with;
- Farmers
- Farmer controlled businesses and groups
- Primary processors
- Food companies
- Retail businesses
- Public Sector Procurement Initiatives
This activity will often be undertaken within a strategic project initiated by a Regional Development Agency (RDA) or other organisation with the objective of helping local and regionally based businesses develop, adapt and be more competitive for the benefit of the regional economy.
Such initiatives enable EFFP to help businesses by:
- Facilitation of supply chain development
- Business strategy and planning
- Skills development
A collaborative approach is a theme running through EFFP's Regional Services which aims to develop longer term and committed relationships between all businesses in the supply chain.
