Bill Cooper

Company Secretary

Bill Cooper retired from NFU Mutual Insurance, where he was Company Secretary, in 2002. Since retirement Bill has been working part-time for EFFP as a consultant in corporate governance, and was appointed Company Secretary of EFFP in September 2004.

From 2002 to 2006 Bill was also Company Secretary of Arena Coventry Ltd, a joint venture company which runs Coventry's Ricoh Arena a leisure complex incorporating a 32,000-seat football stadium and exhibition centre.

Bill is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. His Bill's experience and interest lies in corporate governance, the legal status and constitution of mutual societies, and occupational pensions.
