Jeremy Pope

Jeremy Pope, a qualified solicitor, worked for 30 years in the brewing and hospitality business with his family firm, Eldridge Pope of Dorchester. Following his retirement as Chief Executive in 1999, he has held a number of positions, including the Deputy Chairmanship of the South West of England Regional Development Agency and the Chairmanship of Milk Link Ltd. He also sat on Defra's Sustainable Farming & Food Strategy National Implementation Group under Sir Don Curry's Chairmanship. He is presently a Director of the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy (which will host the 2012 Olympic sailing events), as well as a Trustee of the Tank Museum and also of the Jurassic Coast Trust, involved with the UNICEF-designated World Heritage Site on the Dorset and East Devon Coast.
