EFFP's expertise helped Camgrain set a strong and challenging business strategy which is now being realised. I would encourage every ambitious farming or food business to engage their services.'
John Latham - Chairman, Camgrain
EFFP supports Camgrain to help their members secure premium markets, and go national
During the last four years EFFP has worked regularly with Camgrain supporting the development and delivery of business strategy and new initiatives. This has resulted in the development of an industry leading relationship with Sainsburys, a substantial expansion of the extsting site, and the launch of NetworkGrain UK, a new company bringing together thirteen farmer-owned stores into one national network.
The business challenge Camgrain has been very successful at delivering substantial value for its farmer members whilst operating in an increasingly volatile and commercial market place. The challenge for Camgrain has been to constantly review and develop their business strategy to ensure that they are able to meet these challenges but also to capitalise on any opportunity to add value to the core business.
EFFP has worked with Camgrain on an ongoing basis supporting the review and development of their strategy and also helping to deliver many of the resulting priorities and initiatives. EFFP’s understanding of the cereals sector combined with knowledge of the Camgrain business has provided EFFP with the ability to really challenge the business and help develop a dynamic business strategy with the necessary impetus to ensure that Camgrain remains a growing and successful business.
