Our partners
EFFP have been chosen by the LandSkills East, as a delivery partner to help provide training in the six counties of the East of England. The project is funded by the Rural Development programme for England and will be completed in March 2012.
The programme
LandSkills East has been set up to provide rural businesses with improved access to skills and training courses in the region.
LandSkills East is funded under the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) and managed by Defra with the aim of providing the skills that will be required by the region’s land-based sector in the twenty-first century.
The LandSkills East website provides the latest training information, a full list of training providers offering LandSkills East funded training as well as a list of available courses. You will also find details on all the latest news and events taking place and how to contact us.
EFFP can help food and farming businesses with the board level and senior management training and development. The following list give examples of type of courses, workshops and meetings we have helped to organise, deliver and provide support funding for.
- Director development and training
- Board performance appraisal
- Management skills training
- Customer service skills
- Communication skills
- Telephone skills
- Farmer and grower meetings / workshops / seminars
If you are considering any learning sessions with directors, staff or farmers, then please give me a call to see if how we can help. We can be very flexible on the range of topics and trainers / tutors / speakers used. They do not have to be formal training courses; seminars, workshops and meetings can all be eligible.
The performance of any business is usually strongly linked to the performance of the people involved with it. This funding is available to help you maximise their potential and therefore directly improve the performance of the business. We can help you assess the needs of your people and design training and development programmes to help you deliver your business plan. The funding, while it lasts, is available to March 2012.
