Richard is responsible for managing projects in the East of England and leading nationally on EFFP’s training and development activities. Richard’s career has given him a wide range of experience of all aspects of the agri-food sector including practical arable production, business advice and human resource development. Richard has used his common sense and practical approach in a wide range of projects to support the development of client businesses throughout the food chain from primary production to retailing.

Recent projects include:

  • Facilitation of board performance reviews for a range of companies including The Mid-counties Co-operative
  • The development and implementation of a collaborative supply chain for Colman’s (Unilever) English mustard seed production, which as a result the English Mustard Growers Co-operative has been formed, thus securing a locally grown long-term supply of mustard for Colman's Mustard.
  • Supplier’s views and perception research for major fresh produce commercial business.
