FOOD FORUM 2012 - 20 March 2012
EFFP & Lauras International teamed up to bring this special Food Forum for senior procurement, operations & supply chain executives within food and drink businesses.
All too often there is insufficient collaboration either between manufacturing and procurement or between the business and its upstream supply chain. This can lead to an excessive focus on the short-term price paid for raw materials rather than looking at how to reduce the ‘total cost of operating’ in the long-run.
The event explained why there is an urgent need to do it differently and showed how some leading businesses have gone about improving efficiencies, lowering costs and boosting overall business performance through strategic sourcing and working smarter.
